The Department of Chemistry is a leading producer of BS and MS chemists, recently ranking 13th in the country for B.S. degrees. The success of the Department’s pro grams derives from a tradition of close mentoring of students, excellence in classroom instruction, and hands-on laboratory training. With $1 million in external grant funding to chemistry faculty each year, students find premier research opportunities and learn to use state-of-the-art instruments.
We encourage you to explore our site and learn more about our undergraduate programs in Chemistry, Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, and Chemistry Education. We also encourage you to look at our graduate programs
