Cheri Ponce was a Chemistry major at ISU and graduated in 2001.  She is now a physician’s assistant in Afghanistan.  She not only treats US soldiers but also many Afghan people and children.  Seeing all these people in pain, especially the children, is very hard on her.  These children have nothing and she would like to be able to give them something. At the Nov 17 meeting, four boxes of items were collected. collection of itemsFor the Chem Club Book Grant Drawing, Dr. Lisa Szczepura did the random drawing of names;congratulations to the winner Michelle Thies
