The Department of Chemistry has been extremely active of late in a number of areas.

Faculty changes

The Department has added Dr. Clifford Dykstra.

Dr. Cheryl Stevenson retired as of January 1, 2008.

The Department seeks to hire an analytical chemist.

Awards and Recognition

Dr. Cheryl Stevenson was named 2007 ACS Researcher of the Year at an Undergraduate Institution.

Newsletters

The Department sends out periodic updates as "News for Alumni and Friends". Eventually we hope to convert to an all-electronic format.
